Today is May 20th -- the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of one of my favorite actors (and possibly one of the finest actors of all time), Jimmy Stewart. As you can imagine, I've been sifting through the Internet in search of a fitting tribute -- and there are several. But I didn't want a bunch of movie stills set to random music. He was an actor and should be shown -- and remembered -- acting.
So instead of trying to throw something together myself or just picking one specific scene, I've decided to post a tribute by his friend, George Kennedy, that was broadcast on Turner Classic Movies over a decade ago before Jimmy's passing.
