Security For All

I came across this clip from the 1951 SciFi classic "The Day The Earth Stood Still". With the problems this planet faces every day from war and aggression and it's fallout, it's too bad that we can't just have a benevolent alien show up, take the reins, and tell us what's what. Sometimes I wonder what it would actually take for us to stop killing each other and if that's even possible.
